Ubuntu サーバーで Let's Encrypt を用いて SSL 化する場合、certbot コマンドを利用する事になる。certbot のインストール方法は公式から
Let's Encrypt を利用するための certbot コマンドは wget でダウンロードしたり各種ディストリビューションのパッケージ管理システムを利用してインストールすることが可能となっている。
自分は公式にある wget のコマンドを利用する事が多かったが、新しいサーバーをセットアップする際に apt でのインストール方法も試してみた。
以下のように apt にリポジトリを追加すれば最新版の certbot が利用できるようだ。
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install software-properties-common
$ sudo add-apt-repository universe
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:certbot/certbot
$ sudo apt update
ここまでできたら certbot をインストールする。
$ sudo apt install certbot python-certbot-nginx
バージョン確認
$ certbot --version
certbot 0.31.0
そんなに新しくはなかったが動くし良いか。
